The 200-7 pattern chukka has been a staple of the Russell line for generations. This special small batch run is made from Kudu suede leather tanned by C.F. Stead in England and is named for Kruger National Park in South Africa. The leather is plenty thick, yet is so soft it feels like a glove right out of the box. The tan Vibram crepe sole is a classic choice for a veldskoen style chukka, and is very comfortable underfoot. Three antique brass eyelets ensure that lacing takes only seconds. A versatile shoe for casual wear especially in the spring and summer months, the Kruger is leather lined in case you want to wear it sockless or with low cut socks. Ordering on the small side is not a bad idea if you plan to wear with thin socks. As to styling, the Kruger is best worn with shorts, or a casual pant like jeans or chinos.
