Like buttah. I did a lot of research. I mean a LOT. I spent nearly a year hovering over the purchase, looking up more information, and finally pulled the trigger. Now I dont want to take them off. Beautiful, comfortable, classic.

I own two pairs of Onieda Moc’s one sized to wear with heavy wool socks that I wear outside daily until we get a significant snow,to and from work (driving), then I wear them as house shoes through the winter. My other pair I wear sock less all summer for casual activities. Big fan of both and would highly recommend.

The only thing about these moccasins that I regret is having to occasionally take them off.. this is my second set of Russell’s along with my pecos south 40s.. I’m officially hooked and gonna pull the trigger soon on some back country’s next to round it off on all three. But now I know better than to think that’ll satiate anything.

The Oneida is a truly time-tested, high-quality piece of footwear from Wisconsin. My pair slipped on with ease and offered all-day comfort straight out of the box.

I was pleasantly surprised—despite the perception that these are made for specific terrains, my pair handled everything from our rough blue-stone driveway to broken-shell pavement left by gulls without any issue.

There are moccasins and then there are Russells. With only a very few Maine companies still in business worthy of any comparison with Russell---and a few make really nice shoes---Russells are simply better in every way: materials, construction, detail in fit and finish, and above all design. I would add that I prefer a half-down from Brannock sizing over the recommendation of their sizing application (which concluded a full size down). The width stretches and conforms, so just get a comfortable length and let the moccasin perform its genius.
