The Boot

Named for the elite huntress of Greek mythology, the Diana is a boot crafted for women whose passion is adventure. The Diana features hand molded heel counters, leather lined quarters, Double Vamp construction, and a lightweight Vibram outsole, allowing you to take it from the field to the trail and anywhere in between.

The Leather

Made from our classic water-resistant, full-grain Walnut Timberjack leather, The Diana is easy to wear in a variety of settings. Over time it will patina and darken to a beautiful deep brown. Condition with Obenaufs or Pecards. 

The Construction

The Diana is made with our famous Double Vamp Moccasin construction. The entire boot is leather lined for support and added water-resistance. The Bird Shooter is 9" tall with Army Studs, eyelets, and a pull loop.

The Sole

Favored by professional female guides, the lightweight Vibram Aspen Gumlite sole has great traction for a variety of terrains and with a low tread depth, it is easy to knock off mud at the end of the day. Bolstered by the support of our Double Stack Midsole, this combination is extremely versatile.

Where to wear this boot

• Ideal for elevations up to 6000ft
• Perfect for moderate terrain, mud, and brushy environments
• Historically the Bird Shooter model has been used for Grouse, Pheasant, Quail, Deer, and Turkey hunting. This is the same model that was used to first conquer the Appalachian trial, and was also used by Wiley Post for the first manned flight to the stratosphere. 

This boot is a Classic Build, meaning that upon your order it will be put into production on a 8-12 week lead time.

Sizing Confidence: By ordering this boot you understand that if the fit is too large or small, you can exchange it within 30 days of delivery in unworn condition and we will put another pair into production for you in an adjusted size of your choice. Exchanges are limited to 1 per order and the production timeline for the second pair will be 8-12 weeks. Classic Builds are non-refundable.
