The Boot

This special collaboration with Rose Anvil is a throwback to our Grand Slam Sheep Hunter Boot. The challenge from Rose Anvil was simple: Create the most beefy pair of moccasins known to mankind. Luckily, that is our specialty. The BEEFY features our Walnut Timberjack leather using the roughout side plus a heavy water-resistant lining leather. It also features Triple Vamp Construction, an Oak leather midsole & heel counter, a Made in the USA Montana Traction Claw Airbob sole, Spring Steel Shanks, and is an absolute monster of a boot. Despite the BEEFY specs, it is still agile on the foot, perfect for mountain hiking and hunting. 

The Leather

Our classic, refined Walnut Timberjack leather, tanned at S.B. Foot in Minnesota, but reversed showing the roughout for better abrasion resistance. This leather is our most popular, but its the first time we have offered it using the roughout.

The Sole

For this project we have pulled out all the stops and are using our Montana Traction Claw Airbob sole, made in the USA. We have used it for decades for high mountain hunting for sheep and elk. To support this incredibly aggressive mountain climbing sole, we backed it with our Double Stack Midsole and a spring steel shank.

The Construction

The BEEFY is made with our famous Double Vamp with a Molded Sole Moccasin construction (aka Triple Vamp). In addition it is fully leather lined through the quarters. Taller than the South 40, the BEEFY is 10" tall with Army Studs for quick lacing, a 1.5" cushion collar, and a two-finger pull loop for use with gloves.

This boot is a Collaboration. Upon your order it will be put into production on a 6 month production lead time. Collaborations are limited in material and are not eligible for exchange.
