I use the Heavy Duty LP Leather preservative on a pair of Big Combo boots in SE Alaska. The terrain is wet, rocky, muddy, or snowy, often all in the same day. Last November, I stepped into what turned out to be, a mud hole in a wash out, up to my knee. I forgot to pack my gators that day, so when I pulled out and looked down, the mud was so thick, there was no telling where the pants stopped and the boot started. I had to wave my leg around in a creek, up to my knee to sort of, wash it off. Back at the cabin I found my feet were dry, and the boots easy to clean with a little water and soft brushing. The next morning the boots were good to go. What else would you, want a tough comfortable boot and an excellent leather preservative, so I really don’t care what I walk through, or as in this case, step into.
