Best boots ever!

I wore various work boots throughout my 33 year career in the U.S. Navy and I have never had a pair of boots fit so comfortably whether they were military boots or various type of hiking boots. For many years I have dreamed of owning a pair of Russell Moccasins and I finally made the purchase. The Bronze Chamois Backcountry is simply the perfect boot for me and just fits like a dream. I am so happy with my purchase and my only regret is that I waited until I was age 55 to finally buy a pair. I highly recommend these boots!

Even Better Than Expected

This was my first pair of Russell's, so I wasn't sure what to expect. One I got them in hand and on my feet, I immediately knew they were keepers. Seriously. Somehow, they are more comfortable than my "go-to" adidas Ultraboost. I am a 10D Brannock, wear 10.5 Adidas and most Nike and wear 9.5D John Lofgren. The recommended 9.5D was spot on. Do yourself a favor and try these! Only your wife and wallet will regret it.

Best Boot Money Can Buy!

Right out of the box you can feel and even smell the quality of the leather. With new boots, you would think there is a break-in period and suffering through it. I was surprised there was no break-in period and the comfort level right out of the box is amazing. I used the sizing tool which told me to order 11D and it was spot on. Last but not least, the lactae sole is more quiet than sneakers but provides comfort like sneakers. Can't recommend this boot enough

First Russell's. Not the last. Extra comfortable sole

Chose these as my first traditional-made moc. The lactae sole reminded me of a desert boot and had me interested. I was heavily eying the traditional build with the lug sole but I have too many boots with vibram units or 100's. These have a certain "bounce" to them like many modern sneakers but being built like tanks. I'm a 12.5E Left/12.25EE Right and took the 12E's. With medium wool socks they are perfect. Might try some PH's next.
