Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP Leather Preservative ^Sale

I haven’t had a chance to use it on my new Backcountry boots yet, I normally use conditioner sparingly and the Walnut Timberjack leather on these boots is still very supple and oily/waxy after a month’s wear, often in very wet conditions. I have used this same product on other leather hiking boots since many years, it works very well. Just be aware that it darkens leathers appreciably, use Pecards instead if you want the colour to remain unchanged.

I received a small sample of Obenauf's when I received my Zephyr boots over 30 years ago. I wear the boots casually once a week or so, and when I am quail hunting. Especially after wearing the in the woods on a hunt, they are scratched up pretty bad. Applying one coat of Obenauf's leather preservative, they look like I just pulled them out of the box. I like Obenauf's so much, I have shared my supply with two other Russel boots wearers, and they have raved about how easy it is to use, the protection that it gives their boots, and the look of the boot after they apply Obenauf's.
